Tommy Jones – Lead Vocals, Keys and purveyor of intellectual property

“Incognito”  The newest member of this Ardmoronic family.  Tommy had a stunning career in the 1960’s and 70’s that involved many gyrations and vocal calisthenics that often resulted in the necessity to dodge incoming undergarments being thrust upon him from the fairer sex onto the stage.  That pressure was too much to bare for the young singer, to the point where he felt it necessary to drop out of society for a while.  So, …. he changed his name from Tom to Tommy making it virtually impossible for his aging fans to find him (until now).   In his spare time Tommy (Tom) likes to watch old videos of himself on the Dick Cavett Show and an occasional appearance with Johnny Carson.  He can often be found walking around the grounds of the local drive-in theater tossing popcorn into the windows of unsuspecting lovers and running off screaming like a wild monkey.  During a full moon he has been known to ride his motorcycle through theater screens during that famous scene in “Cool Hand Luke”.  Tommy is not only a talented singer and pianist but his also one of the hardest working musicians around.

Herbinowitz Burnsikovich  aka  Herbie Burns – Bass & vocals

Herbie spends his days wandering the streets of Winston-Salem looking for the check he lost from last nights gig.  He enjoys long walks where he can stare at the sky and contemplate time travel and the string theory.   Herbie also enjoys Sponge Bob and climbing trees.  In the winter months he can be found hang gliding from the roof of his house and as a result can often be seen on Americas Funniest Home Videos.  Herbie someday hopes to grow up and join the Merchant Marines so he can see the world for free.  An avid reader of “Soldier of Fortune Magazine” he is saving his band earnings for an out of service Soviet tank.  Aside from his awesome bass playing, Herbie brings a contagious amount of excitement and enthusiasm to the Ardmores.

Josh McBride aka “The Biz” – Drums & Vocals

Biz is the newest member of the Ardmores.  When we found him he was going door-to-door trying to sell Encyclopedia Britannica and was just having a horrible time at it.  We took him in, gave him some coffee and a biscuit and broke the news carefully to him about the internet.  It was at that point he decided he wanted to be a drummer and since we recently had an opening we figured it was nothing short of fate.  In his spare time (which he now has a lot of) Biz likes to hang out at the local park playing jacks, tether ball and following the young Moms who are trying to balance avoiding him while at the same time keeping an eye on there children.  At any rate, he’s happy now.  We were able to find him a new job selling electronic type-writers so we’ll just have to see how that works out.  In the meantime, Biz lays down a mean back-beat for the Ardmores and is a wonderful asset to the band.

Grant Blair – Guitar & vocals

Grant is one of the newest members of the Ardmores as well as being the youngest.  … Ok, that’s a blatant lie but anyway, when not playing his guitar, Grant likes to eat brussel sprouts and watch Johnny Bravo on cartoon network.   Ever cognisant of his Scottish upbringing, Grant can sometimes be found chasing cars in a kilt on Saturday mornings.   He hopes to someday save up enough money to purchase one of those cool watches like Dick Tracy used to wear along with a jet pack and a dual pack of Sham Wows.  When not playing his guitar, Grant likes inserting shameless plugs for his Photography Studio into band bios.  www.idlewildphotography.com.   Grant brings a wealth of performance and music industry experience to the group.
